El Nacional le propin\u00f3 la primera derrota a Villa Mitre en la Copa Patagonia al vencerlo 71 a 64, en cancha de Napost\u00e1, producto de las goteras que presentaba el Hermanos Cicciolli en la lluviosa tarde bahiense. El celeste reparti\u00f3 su goleo pero se destacaron Mor\u00e1n y Hoffman con 14 puntos cada uno, y Quiroga e Iraola con 10 y 11 rebotes respectivamente. En el tricolor el que m\u00e1s resalt\u00f3 fue Pineda con 22 puntos. Ma\u00f1ana los de Ugolini juegan el cl\u00e1sico con Olimpo en Napost\u00e1 a puertas cerradas.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

El partido comenz\u00f3 intenso y con mucha efectividad de ambos conjuntos. Hoffman y Mor\u00e1n aportaban sus puntos para El Nacional que en mitad de cuarto ganaba 11 a 5. Villa Mitre no era prolijo en ataque y le costaba llegar al gol. Por eso Ugolini rotaba a sus jugadores en buscas de respuestas. A 1m04s para cerrar el primer parcial los de la quinta ganaban 20 a 9 y dominaba con tranquilidad el partido.<\/p>\n

Sin embargo un triple de Berdini abri\u00f3 el camino en el segundo cuarto para Villa Mitre, que con un parcial de 11 a 0 pasaba al frente en el electr\u00f3nico 22 a 20, en poco m\u00e1s de dos minutos. De all\u00ed y hasta el final de la primera mitad el encuentro fue parejo, gol a gol, en donde intercambiaron varias veces el liderazgo en el tanteador. Pero fue el tricolor el que se fue con la ventaja al descanso largo 34 a 33.<\/p>\n

El tercer cuarto fue todo de Pineda en el visitante, que se encarg\u00f3 de mantener la paridad hasta el final del parcial, aportando 12 de los 14 del equipo. En los dirigidos por Canosa fueron claves dos triples de Alonso cada vez que Villa Mitre intent\u00f3 sacar ventajas y fue clave la zona defensiva a final del cuarto para frenar las anotaciones de Pineda.<\/p>\n

Del \u00faltimo descanso volvieron 48 iguales, pero dos triples consecutivos de Larra\u00f1aga empezaron a marcar el camino para el local. Sin embargo un parcial de 6 a 0 por parte de Villa Mitre, volv\u00eda a poner el juego en pardas. El Nacional sigui\u00f3 defendiendo con una zona cerrada, apostando a la baja efectividad en triples del tricolor y as\u00ed obligo a su rival a fallar mucho. Corri\u00f3 cuando pudo y trabaj\u00f3 con paciencia en cada ataque. De a poco fue estirando la ventaja de la mano de Hoffman y Mor\u00e1n y a falta de 1m sacaba la m\u00e1xima diferencia en el juego, 9 puntos. Villa Mitre presion\u00f3 y se puso 67 a 62, pero se equivoc\u00f3 saliendo del fondo, tuvo que cortar con falta y la efectividad de \u201cPancho\u201d y de Alonso le permitieron al celeste cerrar el partido 71 a 64 y cortarle el invicto a Villa Mitre.<\/p>\n
