Este martes dar\u00e1 comienzo una nueva temporada de la mejor liga de b\u00e1squet del mundo, la NBA. \u00a0A partir de las 21 (hora de nuestro pa\u00eds) y por Canal Space, los San Antonio Spurs del bahiense Emanuel Gin\u00f3bili, campeones defensores del trofeo Larry O’Brien, enfrentar\u00e1n a los renovados Dallas Mavericks de Dirk Nowitzki, en uno de los tres duelos inaugurales del torneo 2014-2015. \u00a0Los otros dos partidos que dar\u00e1n comienzo a la competici\u00f3n, ser\u00e1n entre Orlando Magic – New Orleans Pelicans, y Los Angeles Lakers – Houston Rockets, con el regreso de Kobe Bryant a las canchas tras su lesi\u00f3n en la tibia como dato destacado.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La espera termin\u00f3 y por fin dar\u00e1 comienzo una nueva temporada de la NBA. \u00a0Y que mejor forma de estrenar el nuevo a\u00f1o de la competici\u00f3n que con la presentaci\u00f3n del \u00faltimo campe\u00f3n, los San Antonio Spurs del bahiense Emanuel Gin\u00f3bili, midi\u00e9ndose ante los siempre peligrosos Dallas Mavericks del alem\u00e1n Dirk Nowitzki. \u00a0Justamente el antecedente mas reciente entre ambos conjuntos texanos fue en la primera rueda de los Playoffs 2014, en la Conferencia del Oeste, donde las espuelas vencieron a los Mavs en una ajustada serie por 4-3.<\/p>\n

Los dirigidos por Gregg Popovich tienen como claro objetivo repetir el campeonato, por lo que mantuvo pr\u00e1cticamente la misma base que le permiti\u00f3 ganar su 5\u00b0 anillo. \u00a0La incorporaci\u00f3n del rookie Kyle Anderson (alero de 2,06m proveniente de UCLA) es la alta m\u00e1s importante que los Spurs obtuvieron de cara a la 2014-15 y el novato ya mostr\u00f3 buenos rendimientos en la pre-temporada, promediando 9.5 puntos, 45% en T3, 4.3 rebotes y 1,8 asistencias en 24 minutos por encuentro.<\/p>\n

En cuanto a \u00abManu\u00bb (\u00bfsu \u00faltima temporada en la NBA?), el bahiense se encuentra en el a\u00f1o final de su contrato con San Antonio. Viene de firmar unos flojos n\u00fameros en la pre-temporada (6.3 puntos, 8-41 en TC, un baj\u00edsimo 19%, 4.2 rebotes y 3.2 asistencias en 22 minutos) pero no deben ser tenidos en cuenta como medida de pron\u00f3stico para cuando comience la competencia, dado que en los encuentros \u00abpre-season\u00bb son los novatos o \u00a0jugadores con menos minutos en la rotaci\u00f3n quienes tienen m\u00e1s acci\u00f3n. \u00a0Con 37 a\u00f1os, el nacido deportivamente en Bahiense del Norte, buscar\u00e1 liderar (junto a Tim Duncan, Tony Parker y Boris Diaw como los veteranos del equipo; y con Kawhi Leonard como estrella en ascenso) de nuevo a los Spurs a lo m\u00e1s alto del b\u00e1squet mundial.<\/p>\n

El martes, a las 21 y con transmisi\u00f3n de Canal Space, ser\u00e1 la cita inaugural para los Spurs, enfrentando a unos renovados Dallas Mavericks. \u00a0La franquicia adue\u00f1ada por el exc\u00e9ntrico Mark Cuban se reforz\u00f3 fuerte en el verano estadounidense: incorpor\u00f3 \u00a0al alero Chandler Parsons (ex Houston Rockets) para acompa\u00f1ar a Dirk Nowitzki y Monta Ellis en la ofensiva de los Mavs, y se asegur\u00f3 el regreso del p\u00edvot Tyson Chandler, quien fue campe\u00f3n en Dallas en la temporada 2010-11 y buscar\u00e1 aportar defensa en el poste bajo.<\/p>\n

Otro de los duelos destacados de la jornada del martes, ser\u00e1 el de Lakers – Rockets. \u00a0Regresar\u00e1 Kobe Bryant, tras casi un a\u00f1o y medio plagado de lesiones. \u00a0El cinco veces campe\u00f3n, buscar\u00e1 por lo pronto ubicar de nuevo a la franquicia angelina en los Playoffs, tras no alcanzar dicha instancia la pasada temporada (27-55), ya sin la compa\u00f1\u00eda en la media cancha de Steve Nash, el base veterano de 40 a\u00f1os que es baja por toda la 2014-15 (y posiblemente se retire de la actividad) por una lesi\u00f3n en la espalda.<\/p>\n
