Se baj\u00f3 Gran Breta\u00f1a y buscan nuevo rival.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de la gran actuaci\u00f3n en la noche de domingo contra el Dream Team de los Estados Unidos<\/a>, a\u00fan en la derrota por 86-80, la Selecci\u00f3n Argentina transita sus \u00faltimas horas en Barcelona, previas a la gran cita ol\u00edmpica de Londres. El lunes fue jornada libre y tanto jugadores como cuerpo t\u00e9cnico aprovecharon para recorrer distintos puntos tur\u00edsticos, como la Sagrada Familia, la casa Batll\u00f3 (obras del arquitecto Anton\u00ed Gaud\u00ed) o la Plaza Catalu\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

Este martes entre las 11 y las 12.30 el equipo tuvo sesi\u00f3n de gimnasio en el predio del Ayuntamiento de Cornell\u00e1 de Llobregat, a unos nueve kil\u00f3metros de Barcelona, donde juega de local B\u00e1squet Cornell\u00e1 (Liga EBA). Entre las 18.30 y las 20.30 hora local (de 13.30 a 15.30 en Argentina), los dirigidos por Julio Lamas tuvieron entrenamiento de b\u00e1squet en el mismo lugar, ubicado al lado del nuevo estadio de f\u00fatbol del Real Club Deportivo Espa\u00f1ol de Barcelona (cuyo equipo de f\u00fatbol es dirigido por el argentino Mauricio Pochettino).<\/p>\n

Por la noche se midieron el seleccionado local contra Estados Unidos, en el Palau Sant Jordi, como cierre de los partidos en Barcelona preparatorios para Londres. Algunos integrantes del cuerpo t\u00e9cnico asistieron al evento, mientras que la mayor\u00eda lo vio por televisi\u00f3n en el Hotel Arts.<\/p>\n

Para el mi\u00e9rcoles est\u00e1 programado un \u00faltimo entrenamiento en Llobregat, de 9.30 a 11.30. Luego del almuerzo ser\u00e1 la partida rumbo al aeropuerto, para volar a las 16.30 (11.30 en Argentina) hacia Londres. El jueves 26 estaba previsto un partido preparatorio contra Gran Breta\u00f1a, pero el rival prefiri\u00f3 no jugar porque tiene varios lesionados. Por lo tanto se est\u00e1n gestionando otras alternativas para tener un enfrentamiento m\u00e1s antes del debut ol\u00edmpico (con Lituania el domingo 29). De no conseguir rival, el partido ser\u00e1 cancelado.<\/p>\n

En cuanto a lesionados, la \u00fanica novedad para por el pivote Mart\u00edn Leiva, quien contra Estados Unidos sufri\u00f3 la luxaci\u00f3n del dedo anular de la mano izquierda. No es una lesi\u00f3n grave, incluso el mismo domingo pudo seguir jugando luego de ser atendido por los kinesi\u00f3logos del plantel y este martes se entren\u00f3 con normalidad.<\/p>\n
