En una noche especial, Alem demostr\u00f3 tener car\u00e1cter, juego en equipo y dos pilares fundamentales en su esquema. Pas\u00e1ndose bien la bola, defendiendo con intensidad y con un gran porcentaje de 6,75m (52%) venci\u00f3 a Olimpo por 80 a 70 y sac\u00f3 dos partidos de ventaja en la b\u00fasqueda del \u201c1\u201d. Starc con 26 puntos (5\/8 T3) fue el goleador del partido, acompa\u00f1ado por Banegas con 20 y 8 rebotes. En la visita solo se destac\u00f3 la labor de Agust\u00edn S\u00e1nchez con 19 unidades. Antes del inicio del partido, y como en todas las canchas, se realiz\u00f3 un minuto de silencio por el fallecimiento de Oscar \u201cCoqui\u201d Torre, abuelo de Santiago, base de Alem.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Starc y Banegas le ganaron el duelo a Miguel y Garc\u00eda en el inicio del partido, pese a que Ruesga complic\u00f3 con sus penetraciones (11-9). Sin embargo, cuando Alem entendi\u00f3 como defender comenz\u00f3 a complicar al aurinegro, que debi\u00f3 mover tres fichas juntas a 2m59s para el primer descanso. El local se cerr\u00f3 bien bajo su aro, incomod\u00f3 el juego visitante y con bombas de Piore escap\u00f3 23-15. El conjunto de Alvarez le continu\u00f3 dando la bola a Banegas (8) debajo del aro y con un parcial de 15-8 obtuvo una m\u00e1xima de 15 a 3m58s para el descanso largo. Pero se sec\u00f3 y Olimpo defendi\u00f3 mejor, presion\u00f3 y lim\u00f3 la diferencia con jugadas de \u201cdos y uno\u201d de Bettiga y Miguel.<\/p>\n

Una bomba de Ruesga ni bien volvieron de los vestuarios ilusion\u00f3 a Olimpo (38-34) pero fue la \u00faltima vez que lleg\u00f3 a estar cerca de su rival. Porque r\u00e1pidamente una bomba de Rotta \u00a0y buenos aportes de Starc (10) bien alimentado por Priore le permitieron al local volver a tener 15 de luz. Olimpo dej\u00f3 de defender zona ante las bombas de Starc y le sac\u00f3 r\u00e9dito al hombre a hombre robando la bola y corriendo la cancha. No obstante, Banegas volvi\u00f3 a dominar la pintura, carg\u00f3 el ofensivo y sus puntos m\u00e1s el primer triple de Foulkes tras seis intentos le dio la m\u00e1xima de la noche al verdirrojo (59-43) a 1m18s para el \u00faltimo descanso.<\/p>\n

Nos encontramos con una situaci\u00f3n muy dif\u00edcil, inesperada, no cont\u00e1bamos con que pod\u00eda pasarnos algo as\u00ed, pero tuvimos car\u00e1cter para sacarlo adelante que es lo importante. Jugamos muy bien en equipo y le ganamos a un gran rival. Estamos contentos por eso (Augusto Priore)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

S\u00e1nchez (11) aprovech\u00f3 la salida de Banegas con 4 faltas personales y se hizo grande en el trapecio rival. Aunque de poco le sirvi\u00f3 a la visita, porque el local continu\u00f3 afilado desde larga distancia con Starc, Rotta y Priore, entr\u00f3 en constantes discusiones con los \u00e1rbitros y cuando volvi\u00f3 a reaccionar, otra vez Banegas puso pa\u00f1os fr\u00edos. El verdirrojo se ali\u00f3 con el reloj, jug\u00f3 posiciones largas, esper\u00f3 el final del partido y cuando son\u00f3 la chicharra se fundi\u00f3 en un abrazo eterno con Santi Torre. Una victoria m\u00e1s para Alem, una victoria especial.<\/p>\n
