Las dudas y rostros adustos que se evidenciaban durante el PT, cuando Bah\u00eda Basket lo perdi\u00f3 a manos de Pe\u00f1arol por 29-24, se convirtieron en soltura y contundencia en el ST. Ello, le abri\u00f3 el camino al equipo de la ciudad para terminar demoliendo a un milrayita muy distinto al de ligas\u00a0anteriores. Lo hizo por 77 a 50, con Fjellerup y Vaulet como estandartes y una participaci\u00f3n relevante de Pancho Jasen. Tambi\u00e9n Whelan tuvo sus pasajes destacados.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Las dos caras de Bah\u00eda Basket.<\/p>\n

Una, la mala, se extendi\u00f3 durante los primeros 20 minutos.<\/p>\n

La otra, la buena, surgi\u00f3 despu\u00e9s, llegando a regocijar al numeroso p\u00fablico presente anoche en el Casanova.<\/p>\n

Lo m\u00e1s rescatable, claro est\u00e1, es que al equipo de la ciudad retornaron las sonrisas y buenos semblantes, luego de la negativa salida en la que sufri\u00f3 tres ca\u00eddas consecutivas. Su repunte, lo llev\u00f3 a propinarle una fuerte paliza a Pe\u00f1arol, al que someti\u00f3 claramente por 77 a 50.<\/p>\n

No obstante, el escenario comenz\u00f3 siendo otro en los albores.<\/p>\n

Porque v\u00eda Nicol\u00e1s Zurschmitten (triple+doble), la visita se alej\u00f3 11-2 en 2m59s, para posteriormente a\u00f1adirse Franco Giorgetti (2 tripls+doble) y estirar a 16-6.<\/p>\n

A Bah\u00eda le cost\u00f3 mucho todo, estuvo err\u00e1tico (20% en triples y 36% en dobles), desconcentrado, dubitativo y poco imaginativo.<\/p>\n

Reci\u00e9n en las postrimer\u00edas de ese 1\u00baC, Redivo clav\u00f3 una bomba, aunque fue Whelan el que se activ\u00f3 y atac\u00f3 el cesto, provocando infracciones y facturando en la l\u00ednea (6-8). Hizo negocio al consumirse \u00edntegramente el tiempo. Arriba Pe\u00f1arol, 18-17.<\/p>\n

Un calco result\u00f3 el inicio del 2\u00baC.<\/p>\n

Al anfitri\u00f3n le cost\u00f3 horrores poder encestar y, de hecho, anot\u00f3 apenas un punto en casi 7 minutos. Enfrente, hubo m\u00e1s fluidez en ataque v\u00eda Zurschmitten, Roberto Acu\u00f1a (3-3 t2) y Franco Giorgetti.<\/p>\n

Una acci\u00f3n donde Jamaal Levy-Lucio Redivo se conectaron, acerc\u00f3 a Bah\u00eda, en la previa al entretiempo (24-29).<\/p>\n

Pareci\u00f3 poco lo observado por el albiceleste. Se esperaba m\u00e1s, porque ha demostrado que puede.<\/p>\n

Y as\u00ed ocurri\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Se pudo ganar y vamos a ir con la cara en alto a Santiago\u00a0a jugar Liga Sudamericana. Eso me pone muy contento por el equipo.\u00a0No encontramos nuestra ofensiva en el primer tiempo, pero tratamos que no se nos escapen por muchos puntos. En el 3C nos sentimos c\u00f3modos y corrimos (M\u00e1ximo Fjellerup por FM Universal 95.5)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Bah\u00eda Basket se aplic\u00f3 un lifting r\u00e1pido y efectivo.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed, en apenas 2 minutos pas\u00f3 a comandar por primera vez en la velada, tras doble de Anthony Johnson (30-29).<\/p>\n

En lo sucesivo, salt\u00f3 del banco por primera vez Hern\u00e1n Jasen, quien contagi\u00f3, motiv\u00f3 y aport\u00f3. Fjellerup se hizo notar con un volcad\u00f3n, Levy factur\u00f3 un ofensivo en gol, Redivo levant\u00f3 la mano, se sum\u00f3 y as\u00ed Bah\u00eda fue incrementando lo suyo y dejando chiquitito a Pe\u00f1arol.<\/p>\n

Plasm\u00f3 un \u00a119-0! que lo catapult\u00f3 definitivamente a disfrutar de la supremac\u00eda por 43-29. Despu\u00e9s, ya con un oponente groggy, abroch\u00f3 el segmento por \u00a129-8!, convirtiendo m\u00e1s en ese pasaje que en el transcurso de toda la primera mitad.<\/p>\n

Con renta de 16 (53-37) ingresaron los bahienses a encarar el \u00faltimo cuarto. Aunque, claro, poco quedaba por dilucidar.<\/p>\n

Incluso, el amanecer result\u00f3 calcado al anterior, con Bah\u00eda Basket aplicando un \u00a111-0! mediante el cual orill\u00f3 la treintena de unidades en su favor: 64-37.<\/p>\n

Restaban 5m20s por disputar. Y pese a que Johnson intent\u00f3 e intent\u00f3 enterrar la bola, no logr\u00f3 satisfacer su deseo… Es que ambos entrenadores determinaron darle el tiempo final a sus juveniles, dibuj\u00e1ndose pr\u00e1cticamente un choque de la Liga de Desarrollo.<\/p>\n

El trabajo ya estaba hecho para Bah\u00eda Basket: se adjudic\u00f3 el complemento por 53-21 y volvi\u00f3 a la victoria, a sonreir.<\/p>\n

En una misma noche, pas\u00f3 de mendigo a millonario.<\/p>\n
