El conjunto de Palumbo comenz\u00f3 perdiendo los dos primeros cuartos, cometiendo muchas faltas y perdiendo todos los rebotes. Sin embargo sobre la mitad del tercer cuarto Smith apareci\u00f3 y convirti\u00f3 10 unidades, a \u00e9l se le asociaron Massa (14 puntos) y Gendana (17 y goleador de la noche). En el local, Gonzalo Resler sumo 16 tantos.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><!--more--><\/em><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El partido arranc\u00f3 mucho mejor para el conjunto local. Los de Ipucha eran efectivos cada vez que iban a la l\u00ednea. Gonzalo Resler convert\u00eda 8\/9 en libres y 2\/2 en dobles manteniendo a su equipo por encima de la visita. Por el lado del banco de Palumbo, Gendana arranc\u00f3 encendido y sum\u00f3 8 unidades a su favor, sin embargo, esto no alcanzaba y el equipo de Ipucha se impon\u00eda por tres puntos, 19-16.<\/p>\n<p>En el segundo cuarto, la historia no cambi\u00f3 mucho. Whitense continu\u00f3 haciendo de las suyas, ahora con Joaqu\u00edn P\u00e9rez en cancha, quien era cien por ciento efectivo, con 2\/2 en dobles y 3\/3 en libres. El local se fue al descanso mas largo ganando por cuatro, 35-31.<\/p>\n<p>El tercer cuarto fue clave para Independiente. Massa comenz\u00f3 a efectivizar sus tiros y sobre la mitad del cuarto, tras un doble, logr\u00f3 empatar el partido. Luego Smith se encarg\u00f3 de dar vuelta el marcador al encestar y recibir una falta que canjear\u00eda por punto al ir a la l\u00ednea. Ipucha y su equipo comenzaron a desesperarse y las cosas no sal\u00edan, dejando escapar una gran cantidad de puntos. Independiente se llev\u00f3 el tercer cuarto, 59-45.<\/p>\n<p>En el \u00faltimo parcial el conjunto visitante despleg\u00f3 su juego y logr\u00f3 ampliar la ventaja. Gendana continu\u00f3 sumando a su cuenta desde la l\u00ednea de tres y Bert\u00f3n y Musumeci aportaron desde la l\u00ednea. Whitense termin\u00f3 con todos los juveniles en cancha, pero poco pudieron hacer los chicos.
