Es que si algo le falta a este Velocidad, que con plantel \u201ccompleto\u201d le cuesta, era enfrentar a este encumbrado Alem, sin sus tres principales exponentes.<\/p>\n

Extra\u00f1amente, Velocidad tuvo la \u201calegr\u00eda\u201d de empezar ganando el partido 2-0 con una penetraci\u00f3n de Payllalef, pero los de Romerniszyn en 6 minutos, defendiendo hombre, intenso, le hizo un 10-0, cerrando el parcial con un triple de Foulkes. Luego un 7-3 bastante mas parejo, donde el local se bas\u00f3 en Gonzalo Etchepare (5), m\u00e1s una buena rotaci\u00f3n de bal\u00f3n. La visita estuvo ineficaz (2-13 tc), perdi\u00f3 7 pelotas y un punto positivo fue los rebotes tomados en estos 10 minutos (10, 4 de Godoy), para irse 17-5 debajo.<\/p>\n

Otra vez \u201cVelo\u201d arranc\u00f3 arriba 2-0 en el segundo tras un doble de Godoy, aunque entre Tachetti y Miguel (4 cada uno) alargaron la ventaja haci\u00e9ndose fuertes en la pintura, mientras los de Montero descontaban de a dos, Etchepare (6) clav\u00f3 dos triples calcados a 45\u00ba para poner 31-11 promediando el cuarto. Luego se equipar\u00f3 nuevamente, con goleo repartido en ambos equipos, destac\u00e1ndose Melo (4 puntos y 3 rebotes) pero Velocidad no convirti\u00f3 triples en el primer tiempo (0-9), y en contrapartida Alem hizo 4-11) para irse al frente 39-17 al descanso largo.<\/p>\n

El tercer cuarto fue parejo, de no creer en un juego de tanta diferencia final. Romerniszyn continu\u00f3 rotando a su plantel, porque al principio no encontraba gol, aunque sus jugadores siguieron rompiendo la 2-3 de Velocidad con los triples (5-7) con Leguizam\u00f3n (6, 2-2), Luna Chima (10, 2-3) y Miguel (3, 1-2), mientras que nuevamente Melo (8, 4-4 t2) fue figura haci\u00e9ndose notar debajo del cesto. En este cuarto, Guill\u00e9n, de flojo encuentro (3-15 tc) anot\u00f3 sus primeros puntos del partido con sendas bandejas de zurda. Al\u00e9m gan\u00f3 el cuarto 25-23 y por ende se fue al \u00faltimo 64-40 arriba.<\/p>\n

El \u00faltimo cuarto fue demoledor para los de calle Azara. Se lo llevaron 26-10, con Calzetti como figura (6, 3-3 t2), sum\u00f3 participaci\u00f3n Gigena (5) y Montero tambi\u00e9n puso unos minutos al \u00faltimo jugador que le faltaba ingresar, Nicol\u00e1s Popp, porque los players de la visita estaban agotados, pero no ten\u00edan mas recambio. Los j\u00f3venes del club de calle Rondeau le pusieron la cara a la adversidad e hicieron un juego decoroso. Alem meti\u00f3 la quinta consecutiva en el Oficial y en el acumulado le pisa los talones al puntero Olimpo, que no detiene su marcha y, justamente, su \u00faltimo perdido fue ante su escolta.<\/p>\n
