Con nueva vestimenta, Villa Mitre jug\u00f3 su mejor partido defensivo en lo que va del a\u00f1o, y aplast\u00f3 como visitante a Estudiantes por 89-55.\u00a0 En el tricolor (que visti\u00f3 una camiseta color verde manzana), David Pineda con 16 puntos, Gast\u00f3n Diomedi (15) y Javier Bollo con 14 (8-10 en t1) fueron los destacados.\u00a0 En el Albo, que tuvo el debut de Jonathan Thorp (4 rebotes y dos p\u00e9rdidas), Jos\u00e9 Guti\u00e9rrez (13) y Joaqu\u00edn S\u00e1nchez (10) fueron los de mejor tarea.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Con vastos espacios en el per\u00edmetro, Villa Mitre no hesit\u00f3, y tomando tanto el tiro de media como de larga distancia (3-4 en ese rubro, con dos bombas de Renzi) golpe\u00f3 fuerte de entrada al local (6-17 en 4m).\u00a0 Cuando Estudiantes ajust\u00f3 y pas\u00f3 a marcar con atrapes la salida del tricolor, el conjunto de Ugolini encontr\u00f3 en la figura de Pineda (9) un ejecutor en la transici\u00f3n r\u00e1pida para cerrar arriba el 1C (16-28).<\/p>\n

Pero Estudiantes reaccion\u00f3 en el 2C.\u00a0 Con Guti\u00e9rrez (5) saliendo de bloqueo indirecto, la guapeza de Joaqu\u00edn S\u00e1nchez (6) en el 1v1, y la presi\u00f3n en toda la cancha a Villa Mitre, el equipo de Guillermo L\u00f3pez retorn\u00f3 al juego (35-41).\u00a0 No obstante, cuando parec\u00eda que el Albo se preparaba para remontar la historia, la visita sobrecarg\u00f3 el poste bajo con Bollo, y Javier se sinti\u00f3 como un pez en el agua, ya sea recibiendo bajo el aro ante las marcas de Marcos Fern\u00e1ndez y Mart\u00edn Cleppe, o finalizando en transici\u00f3n r\u00e1pida.\u00a0 Asi fue que el pivote se luci\u00f3 en el segmento (anot\u00f3 12 puntos, con 3-4 en t2 y 6-6 en t1) para que Villa Mitre cierre la primera mitad con parcial de 13-1(36-54 en el global).<\/p>\n

Me quedo con lo que hicimos hoy en defensa. \u00a0Lo liquidamos en el tercer cuarto para que puedan entrar los m\u00e1s chicos, y dejamos a Estudiantes en 55 puntos. \u00a0Gracias a lo que defendimos, pudimos tener muchas variantes en ataque, y por eso metimos m\u00e1s de afuera y jugamos mejor pick and roll y poste bajo (Gast\u00f3n Diomedi)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Al regreso de los vestuarios, Estudiantes pareci\u00f3\u00a0encontrar mayores espacios en el per\u00edmetro mediante triples de Scarpaci y Alema\u00f1y.\u00a0 Pero a Leonel le pitaron dos faltas en contra en menos de un minuto, acumulando la quinta. \u00a0Sin embargo,\u00a0los problemas del Albo apenas comenzaban con la salida de una de sus figuras.\u00a0 Porque Villa Mitre propuso una intensa defensa f\u00edsica, doblando el bal\u00f3n, el pick and roll y bloqueando la l\u00ednea de pase.\u00a0 Gran benefactor de ello fue Germ\u00e1n Andr\u00e9s, que con tres robos contribuy\u00f3 a un global de nueve recuperos en el per\u00edodo, de los cuales pudo capitalizar 10 puntos.\u00a0 Estudiantes perdi\u00f3 el rumbo por completo, s\u00f3lo pudo anotar 7 puntos en todo el cuarto (2-10 de campo), el verde manzana le sac\u00f3 la m\u00e1xima de la noche (43-76) y el resto es historia.<\/p>\n
