En la apertura del Torneo Oficial, Velocidad y Resistencia se hizo de un duro triunfo\u00a0 en un partido caliente (60 faltas en total) como local sobre Independiente por 89-80.\u00a0 Alan Grill con 22 puntos, Sebasti\u00e1n Susbielles (21) y Cristian Bisterfeld(17 y 15 rebotes) fueron las figuras del conjunto de Mauricio Vago.\u00a0 Por la visita, no alcanz\u00f3 con los 21 de Sebasti\u00e1n Branciforte.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Con la fricci\u00f3n que los guardias de ambos equipos propusieron en defensa, el juego interno fue el que predomin\u00f3 en el 1C.\u00a0 Sin generar puntos en sus perimetrales, a Velocidad le tuvo que bastar con la tarea de Bisterfeld en la pintura (4 puntos y 3 rebotes) m\u00e1s Fris\u00f3n (7) conectando desde afuera.\u00a0 Pero quien domin\u00f3 bajo el aro fue Banchero (8) y secundado por \u00c9rcoli desde afuera (5) permiti\u00f3 al Viola cerrar arriba el 1C (16-20).<\/p>\n

Pero en el 2C, Velocidad aplic\u00f3 mejor su juego.\u00a0 Alternando defensas zonales (2-3 y 3-2) sec\u00f3 el ataque de Independiente (1-7 de campo en 6m) y corriendo la cancha, con un inspirado Susbielles (10 y 3 asistencias), el local meti\u00f3 parcial de 23-12 sobre el cierre de la primera mitad, para irse arriba al descanso largo (44-40).<\/p>\n

Entramos un poco blandos en defensa, pero cuando pasamos a defender en zona anulamos el juego perimetral de ellos (por Independiente) y se nos dieron mejores resultados en ataque. \u00a0A pesar del cierre ajustado, la ventaja que sacamos en el 3C nos sirvi\u00f3 para ganar el partido (Mauricio Vago)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Con la misma t\u00f3nica, Velocidad aprovech\u00f3 un gran pasaje de Grill (10, 2-3 en t3) jugando el 1v1.\u00a0 Independiente hizo fuerza atacando el rebote ofensivo pero no fue eficiente en la l\u00ednea de libres (9-16) ni de campo (4-12) y permiti\u00f3 una importante ventaja al local\u00a0 (60-48).<\/p>\n

Pero el Viola no se estir\u00f3 a menos, y castigando desde el per\u00edmetro ( dos triples de \u00c9rcoli y dos de Branciforte) se puso debajo por la m\u00ednima.\u00a0 Aunque luego de esa r\u00e1faga, comenz\u00f3 a perder soldados por cinco faltas (Branciforte y Banchero) y Velocidad, volviendo a la base del 2C (correr y tirar) cont\u00f3 con un enorme cierre de Susbielles en ambos costados (8 puntos con dos triples y 4 rebotes defensivos) y con un par de corridas, el local recuper\u00f3 doble d\u00edgito de ventaja (85-75 a falta de 1m) para asegurarse la victoria.<\/p>\n
