En una noche plagada de altibajos por ambos bandos, el aurinegro logr\u00f3 sacar la mejor tajada al retornar a la senda de la victoria, dando cuenta de Estudiantes (Olavarr\u00eda) por 70 a 68. As\u00ed, se tom\u00f3 revancha de la ca\u00edda que sufriera el domingo<\/a>, tambi\u00e9n en el Tom\u00e1s y ante el mismo rival. Se destac\u00f3 el estadounidense Thomas Granado (16 puntos+12 rebotes) y fue vital la aparici\u00f3n del juvenil Franco Ruesga. No actu\u00f3 Jos\u00e9 Fabio (bronquitis).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Que se adue\u00f1a del tr\u00e1mite uno, que se se lo adue\u00f1a el otro…<\/p>\n

As\u00ed fue transcurriendo la noche en el Norberto Tom\u00e1s. Sin un dominador absoluto que se hiciera cargo del pleito y lo encaminara a su voluntad.<\/p>\n

Termin\u00f3 siendo de Olimpo porque a 1s4\/10. con el local arriba por 70-67, el base Diego Figueredo marr\u00f3 el primero de sus libres y, pese a acertar el siguiente, ya no dispuso de tiempo para la haza\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

El aurinegro calent\u00f3 motores enseguida, mostr\u00f3 otra actitud a la exhibida en el tropez\u00f3n del domingo y hall\u00f3 vertientes ofensivas en Thomas Granado (4-4 t2), Christian Schoppler (1-2 t3, 2-3 t2 y 1-2 t1) y Dwayne Smith (1-2 t3 y 1-5 t2).<\/p>\n

De ese modo tom\u00f3 distancia de 18-8, a\u00fan con 1m50s por jugar en el 1\u00baC.<\/p>\n

En 40s del 2\u00baC, Ramiro Iglesias clav\u00f3 una bomba que estir\u00f3 la ventaja a 26-12.<\/p>\n

En ese momento fue cuando Estudiantes (O) empez\u00f3 a despertar.<\/p>\n

Y lo hizo con apariciones de Figueredo, m\u00e1s doble de Emilio Dom\u00ednguez, para recortar a 20-26.<\/p>\n

En los siguientes 5m21s, Olimpo result\u00f3 una maquinita: plant\u00f3 una seguidilla de \u00a114-0! apoy\u00e1ndose en el s\u00faper inspirado Franco Ruesga (2-2 t3 y 1-1 t2), m\u00e1s el continuo aporte de Granado adentro y la colaboraci\u00f3n de Iglesias. As\u00ed, se coloc\u00f3 arriba 40-20.<\/p>\n

Aunque restaban 2m23s. Y, si bien el panorama hac\u00eda indicar que un equipo (Olimpo) estaba con todas las \u00ednfulas y el otro (Estudiantes) casi groggy, no result\u00f3 as\u00ed.<\/p>\n

En lo sucesivo, el Bataraz mand\u00f3 el mensaje de que a\u00fan viv\u00eda y con env\u00edos lejanos de Portillo, Figueredo y Arese, cerr\u00f3 la primera mitad con una racha de 11-1 que le permiti\u00f3 crearse sus ilusiones: 31-41.<\/p>\n

Eso no result\u00f3 todo.<\/p>\n

Si estamos concentrados atr\u00e1s, adelante las cosas salen solas.\u00a0No ven\u00eda tomando muchos tiros, por suerte hoy se me dieron las cosas (Franco Ruesga por FM Universal 95.5)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ya en el complemento, el olavarriense mantuvo su envi\u00f3n con conversiones de Figueredo-Portillo y la presencia de Byron Johnson. Promediando el 3\u00baC, plasm\u00f3 un 20-5 que lo dej\u00f3 a tiro (40-45). Aunque, restando 3m56s, afirm\u00f3 su enorme repunte pudiendo pasar al frente 45-46, concretando un terrible parcial de 26-5.<\/p>\n

Olimpo estaba at\u00f3nito. Su quedo fue extenso y preocupante.<\/p>\n

Del mismo sac\u00f3 la cabeza con bombazo de Lucas Mar\u00edn, para recuperar la supremac\u00eda de cara al segmento definitorio: 53-49.<\/p>\n

All\u00ed, nuevamente, se vieron otras caras en ambos conjuntos.<\/p>\n

Porque Olimpo se sacudi\u00f3 la modorra r\u00e1pidamente: otro triple del Pela Mar\u00edn m\u00e1s tiro corto de Agust\u00edn S\u00e1nchez, englobando un 7-0 en 2m43s. Y 60-49 al frente.<\/p>\n

Lejos de rendirse, Estudiantes (O) siempre se las ingeni\u00f3 para mantenerse al acecho, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de que a 4m48s del ep\u00edlogo a\u00fan ten\u00eda diez de desventaja (56-66).<\/p>\n

Sin embargo, surgi\u00f3 Rodrigo S\u00e1nchez y entre Brocal y Arese a\u00f1adieron sendas bombas que volvieron a encender la alarma para el anfitri\u00f3n: 64-66, con 2m00s por disputar.<\/p>\n

El interrogante era conocer c\u00f3mo reaccionar\u00eda uno y otro, teniendo en cuenta los altibajos que predominaron en ambos durante la velada.<\/p>\n

La recta final\u00a0se dio con 1-2 t1 (67-64) de Schoppler a 1m51s, m\u00e1s doble del inconstante Smith a 1m18s: 69-64.<\/p>\n

Posteriormente, frenaron con falta a Figueredo, que hizo 1-2 t1 (65-69) y el Bataraz se vio favorecido cuando Schoppler la perdi\u00f3 y a Brocal no le tembl\u00f3 la mu\u00f1eca para encestar ambos simples, con 50s6\/10 por jugar: 67-69.<\/p>\n

La siguiente ofensiva olimpiense se resolvi\u00f3 con un intento triple fallado de Schoppler, cuyo recobre ofensivo rob\u00f3 Iglesias, posterior v\u00edctima de falta. El base tambi\u00e9n hizo 1-2 (70-67), a 26s3\/10.<\/p>\n

Era un final abierto.<\/p>\n

En la respuesta olavarriense, Arese se qued\u00f3 corto en el lanzamiento lejano, Smith la baj\u00f3 y lo cortaron. Triunfando Olimpo por 70-67 a 6s8\/10, el canadiense no emboc\u00f3 ninguno e Iglesias le dio un manotazo a Figueredo en mitad de campo. Con 1s4\/10 por desarrollar, el base se lament\u00f3 al errar el primero, para despu\u00e9s encestar el siguiente (68-70).<\/p>\n

Enseguida, sobrevino el tiempo muerto de Maceratesi.<\/p>\n

Igualmente, en la reposici\u00f3n al due\u00f1o de casa le cost\u00f3 poner la bola en juego, hasta que Mar\u00edn se abraz\u00f3 a la pelota y el tiempo se consumi\u00f3.<\/p>\n

Olimpo lo gan\u00f3 con el \u00faltimo aliento.<\/p>\n
