En el inicio de la edici\u00f3n 28\u00ba de la prestigiosa Copa Pancho, en Chile, Felipe Mandolesi (Alem) captur\u00f3 la\u00a0estruendosa cifra de \u00a138 rebotes! Fueron 20 en defensa y 18 en ataque, en los 33m21 que jug\u00f3 como refuerzo para la selecci\u00f3n de Valpara\u00edso (adem\u00e1s sum\u00f3 23 puntos), que venci\u00f3 a Estudiantes (Las Condes) por 79 a 66. Su compa\u00f1ero Iv\u00e1n Gomez Lepez (Bahiense del Norte) tambi\u00e9n fue figura: 17 puntos y 7 tableros.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Un emocionante domingo del mejor b\u00e1squet sudamericano fue lo que dej\u00f3 la jornada inaugural de la Copa Pancho 2017, un prestigioso certamen para jugadores menores de 15 a\u00f1os (se toma en cuenta la temporada 2016).<\/p>\n

Valpara\u00edso recib\u00eda en el Fort\u00edn a Estudiantes de Las Condes<\/a>\u00a0como plato final de la jornada. El quinteto de Braulio Sasso comenz\u00f3 fuerte, alentado por un gimnasio enardecido y motivado por el excelente nivel exhibido por los porte\u00f1os (parcial de 29-13 para el t\u00e9rmino del primer cuarto).<\/p>\n

Sin duda los refuerzos de Argentina incorporados al equipo de Valpara\u00edso marcaron la diferencia. Iv\u00e1n G\u00f3mez Lepez<\/strong> alcanz\u00f3 los 17 puntos para comandar el armado y la defensa, sin embargo las miradas y el desnivel corrieron por cuenta de Felipe Mandolesi<\/strong> y sus 23 puntos m\u00e1s \u00a138 rebotes! (18 de ellos en ataque) en una inspirada noche que signific\u00f3 la debacle de Estudiantes.<\/span><\/p>\n

En la victoria por 79-66 tambi\u00e9n luci\u00f3\u00a0Reinero Gonz\u00e1lez con 12 puntos y Sebasti\u00e1n Vial con s\u00f3lidos porcentajes desde la l\u00ednea de 3. Para los de Las Condes, Jimmy Galina con 25 puntos y Crist\u00f3bal Irarr\u00e1zabal con 18 fueron los elementos m\u00e1s destacados.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed Valpara\u00edso comenz\u00f3 de la mejor manera su participaci\u00f3n en la XXVIII versi\u00f3n de la Copa Pancho. El partido tuvo lugar justo despu\u00e9s de la ceremonia de inauguraci\u00f3n, en donde se cont\u00f3 con la presencia de Bafovitos,\u00a0la escuela de danza folcl\u00f3rica infantil de Vi\u00f1a del Mar y unos chinchineros que animaron al p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n
