Lo Juegos Universitarios Regionales son un torneo anual y federal, donde participan estudiantes representantes de instituciones de educaci\u00f3n superior p\u00fablicas y privadas de la Rep\u00fablica Argentina. Consta de dos etapas de competici\u00f3n: Regional y Nacional.<\/strong><\/p>\n

El b\u00e1squetbol -de la regi\u00f3n Bonaerense- se jugar\u00e1 de manera \u00edntegra en Tandil, del 17 al 20 del corriente.<\/strong><\/p>\n

El plantel de la Universidad Nacional del Sur,\u00a0al mando de Nano Lacasa, estar\u00e1 compuesto por Juli\u00e1n Rodr\u00edguez, Tom\u00e1s Scarpaci, Jer\u00f3nimo Mitoire, Mart\u00edn \u00c1lvarez, Antonio Iturrioz, Juan Garc\u00eda, Santiago Soriano, Federico Vilouta, Emanuel Miguel, I\u00f1aki Errazu, Mart\u00edn Frola y Marcos Nunzi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

No obstante, los tres jugadores que pertenecen a Estudiantes (Rodr\u00edguez, Scarpaci y Mitoire) llegar\u00e1n a Tandil el martes por la ma\u00f1ana ya que afrontar\u00e1n la fecha del lunes con su equipo en el torneo local.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La competencia re\u00fane doce disciplinas deportivas: ajedrez, atletismo, b\u00e1squet, f\u00fatbol, futsal, handball, hockey, nataci\u00f3n, rugby, tenis, tenis de mesa y v\u00f3ley.<\/p>\n

La misma se realiza en nueve regiones, y sus clasificados compiten en la instancia nacional. Para la Final Nacional, se agregar\u00e1n las disciplinas promocionales de b\u00e1squet 3×3, beach tenis, beach v\u00f3ley, bossaball, judo y softball. La instituci\u00f3n que obtenga m\u00e1s puntos ser\u00e1 la ganadora de la Copa JUR. Los puntos se computar\u00e1n mediante la puntuaci\u00f3n del sistema ol\u00edmpico.<\/p>\n

El certamen deportivo universitario es organizado por la Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Desarrollo Universitario y Voluntariado de la Secretar\u00eda de Pol\u00edticas Universitarias de la Naci\u00f3n, en conjunto con el Comit\u00e9 T\u00e9cnico del Deporte Universitario Argentino (CTDUA) del Consejo Interuniversitario Nacional (CIN).<\/p>\n
